Throughout his career, he has held management and executive positions in financial institutions, companies, and professional associations, including Banco Finantia, Banco Português de Gestão, Real Vida Seguros, Banif Banco de Investimento, BIG, and BPI.

He is or has been a member of the Boards of Directors and Advisory Councils of organizations such as APAF, EFFAS, and CMVM, having contributed in various stages to the development of the Portuguese financial market.
